These wood carving knives are exactly as they describe. They have met my expectation and more. I highly recommend these to anyone as a beginner or intermediate, and also expert levels. These knives were razor, sharp, ready for work right out of the pouch. Handle was perfect for holding, fit my hand perfectly.

I have bought beaver craft knives for two or three years. I am the worlds worst knife sharpener, so I don’t mind spending a few bucks to get a new knife with a great edge on it couple times a year after I spent an evening trying to sharpen things and just barely hit a neutral point so buy a few blades and enjoy your carving.

From the reviews I expected a good tool but given the modest cost was pretty sure I would need to sharpen it after it arrived. I was wrong - inside the cardboard box was the knife with a temporary plastic blade protector for shipping and three bandaids for who handle this knife carelessly. A far superior warning than some legalese on the box.
